Before opening a ticket
Refresh the page, confirm the URL, and retry in a current browser. If the issue involves a form, avoid repeated submissions that could create duplicate records.
What information helps?
Include the affected page URL, approximate time of the problem, expected behavior, actual behavior, and browser or device if relevant. A screenshot can be useful when it contains no sensitive data.
What should not be sent?
Do not send passwords, one-time codes, private authentication tokens, unnecessary participant information, or confidential manuscript files unless an authorized workflow specifically requires them.
Broken external journal link
If an official journal link or remote journal cover is no longer correct, report the journal title and the affected link so it can be reviewed and updated.
Security issue
If the issue appears security-related, review the Security page before reporting it and avoid testing in a way that accesses data or accounts that are not yours.
