Common questions
Treata Scholars support answers
How do I create a Treata Scholars account?
Open Create Account, choose the appropriate public role, complete the registration form, and follow the email-verification process. Reviewer and Editor role requests may require administrator approval after email verification.
What if I do not receive the verification email?
Confirm that the email address was entered correctly and check spam or junk folders. If the message still does not arrive, submit a support ticket. Do not create multiple accounts solely to work around an email-delivery problem.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Use the Forgot Password page associated with the account login. If the reset message does not arrive after checking spam and confirming the account email, contact support.
Where do I submit a manuscript?
Use the relevant journal profile in the Journal Directory. If a verified submission link is displayed, follow it. Some journals may operate on an external institutional journal platform rather than on the Treata Scholars website itself.
Does a Treata Scholars journal profile mean that the journal is hosted on Treata?
Not necessarily. The directory may provide a publisher-level profile while operational journal pages, archives, or submissions are hosted on another verified journal website.
How do I find a journal's policies or author instructions?
Open the journal profile and follow its verified journal-specific links. Publisher-wide policies and role-specific Treata guidance are available under Policies and Guidelines.
How can I track a ticket?
Keep the ticket ID shown after submission and use it with the same email address on the ticket-status page.
What should I include in a technical support request?
Include the affected page, what you expected to happen, what actually happened, your browser or device when relevant, and a screenshot if it helps. Never include a password.
How do I report a security concern?
Review the Security page and contact Treata Scholars through the support channel. Provide enough information to reproduce or understand the issue, but do not access or download data that is not yours.
Does Treata Scholars claim security certifications?
Treata Scholars does not present a certification or compliance status unless it has been formally obtained and can be documented. The Security page describes implemented practices and operational safeguards without substituting those practices for an external certification.
